Just get in touch with us at alrealon@hotmail.co.uk5. I am an artist and I want Alrealon Music to listen to my music. How do I do?
Before you start burning a CD or filling our mailbox with gigantic MP3 files, please do visit our artist page and check if you feel like you can interest us, objectively. If the answer is affirmative, then gather a couple of your best tracks on a CD/DVD/DAT tape, minidisk, tape or whichever format you feel like using...Do not send any MP3 files by email, we will throw them away without listening to them.
6. Is downloading music legal?
Downloading music is legal as long as all of the copyright holders of that particular piece of music have given authorisation for it to be downloaded and stored in digital format. We have been granted authorisation by the relevant rights holders for selling digital downloads of their music via www.alrealon.co.uk All music sold on Alrealon Music is 100% legal. However, it is illegal to move or copy your music files onto another computer or device that belongs to someone else, as this constitutes illegal file-sharing and breaks copyright law. The music files you purchase and download from Alrealon Music are for your personal use only.7. What is the legal status on how to use the MP3s I buy from Alrealon Music?
Alrealon Music does not currently use DRM restrictions. Digital Rights Management (DRM) is protective software that restricts how many times a music file can be burnt to CD/ Minidisc/ DVD/ memory card and the number of devices (additional computers, digital music players, mobile phones etc) it can be transferred to. For the moment, there is no obligation for us to apply these restrictions. We will if they become compulsory.8. In term of ownership, what is the current status on digital tracks?
If you have paid for and downloaded the music file, the track is yours to keep for personal use only. The copyright laws for a physical compact disc you purchased from a high street store and for a digital track bought on the internet are the same.9. What is the sound quality of the music files I download?
We supply music files at a bitrate of at least 192kbps which is a quality higher than the one of a CD track.10. How do I download a track?
Once the payment has been received, you will be given a link to the track/album you have purchased. You would then have to decide whether to save or to open the file. Chose the "save" option.11. What if there is a problem during the download?
We recommend that you check the quality of your internet connection before starting the download. Our online shop allows a maximum of three download attempts of the same file. So if one does not work, try again. Should you require our help, please send us a message at shop@alrealon.co.uk12. Can I select multiple tracks from different albums?
Yes. Simply select any track you want to order and add them to your cart.13. What forms of payment do you accept?
